As head chef at Mawal, my aim is to create an authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean experience for our guests. My aim is to give our guests the opportunity to experience the diversity of the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean foods we offer. My philosophy and approach to cooking is to always treat fresh produce with care and simplicity. I always experiment with new flavors and aim to keep our diners satisfied!
Nidal Yazagi was classically trained in Syria, in one of Syria’s finest establishments. Throughout his career, he has worked in the finest restaurants in Syria, Lebanon, Dubai and for the last 5 years in Melbourne Australia before joining Mawal.
